Job summary

Youth Haven, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance/ Groundskeeper to keep our Naples, FL campus safe, clean, and well-maintained.

You will perform custodial tasks, monitor facilities, and promptly report issues to the Facilities Manager to ensure readiness across cottages and administration buildings. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with daily inspections, basic technology, and PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, custodial services, groundskeeping, or related field preferred.
• Technical, vocational, or trade certification in facilities maintenance or building services is a plus.
• Familiarity with building maintenance practices, cleaning procedures, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain campus grounds, including routine trash removal and safety checks.
• Monitor facilities and report maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are clean and presentable at all times.
• Conduct daily inspections of campus facilities for quality and readiness.
• Perform custodial tasks in cottages, admin buildings, and other areas.
• Complete preventive maintenance and deep-cleaning tasks (floor care, windows, blinds).
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the campus.
• Process work orders related to maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and service requests.
• Report malfunctioning equipment and ensure compliance with safety and licensing requirements.
• Maintain records of completed work and facility-related activities.
• Foster positive relationships with staff, residents, clients, and visitors.
