Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; three years custodial experience can substitute education.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of district training for supervision within one year.
• Must understand, speak and write English.
• Experience supervising 5–10 staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, prepare work schedules and supervise custodians.
• Train custodial staff in safe cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
• Oversee cleaning of district buildings and grounds.
• Manage inventory and requisition custodial supplies.
• Ensure safety protocols and hazardous materials compliance.
• Respond to after-hours or urgent district facility needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and district record keeping.
