Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• Master's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
• 8-13 years of related experience.
• Previous supervisory/managerial experience.
• Understanding of student development theory and application to student engagement.
• Experience working with multiple constituencies, including service providers, senior leadership, students and community.
• Relevant experience managing facilities or programs in student-focused university environments.
• Knowledge of best practices in facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities management of the Highlander Union Building and related spaces.
• Lead event scheduling, programming, and major events.
• Manage capital planning projects and financial operations.
• Develop policies, procedures, and annual reporting related to the unit.
• Collaborate with Student Recreation Center to align management practices.
• Engage with campus stakeholders to advance student engagement initiatives.
• Lead a team and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
