Job summary

Jacksonville State University is seeking Student Workers (S.W.A.T.) to support Residence Hall Rentals and Housing Operations. The role involves moving furniture, inventorying housing equipment, and performing outdoor duties across campus, with duties assigned by the department.

Applicants must be JSU students enrolled for at least 3 hours per semester and have a valid driver's license. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be enrolled as a JSU student taking at least three hours per fall or spring semester.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate a university owned vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available to work weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Moving furniture to areas around campus.
• Inventory, organization and security of housing equipment and materials.
• Trash rounds and picking up debris on campus grounds.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned based on overall maintenance of facilities.
