Qualifications

• 1) Bachelor's Degree in a related field and six years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• 2) Working knowledge of local ordinances and state/federal codes.
• 3) Experience implementing and monitoring legal compliance measures.
• 4) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• 5) Experience managing capital projects.
• 6) Experience estimating, planning, and managing costs within budgets.
• 7) Experience supervising personnel.
• 8) Experience compiling data and generating reports.
• 9) Strong time-management, goal-setting and deadlines.
• 10) Analytical, decision-making, organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee construction and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate work with architects, engineers, and trades personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local ordinances and codes.
• Oversee in-house construction projects and inspect workmanship.
• Provide cost estimates and manage project budgets.
• Plan long- and short-term needs for the College.
• Liaise with external contractors and college departments to coordinate tasks.
• Ensure safety and training, and monitor compliance.
• Provide reports on cost, schedule, issues, and progress.
