Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles is seeking a Facilities Mechanic to perform routine and semi-skilled maintenance, alterations and repair of campus HVAC equipment under direction of a journey level crafts worker. You will assist with installation and preventive maintenance, operate tools, and keep logs of completed work.

The role requires strong safety practices, ability to work as part of a team or independently, and the capacity to read basic schematics.

Qualifications

• 6-18 CEU’s in trade preferred
• Must possess CA Class C driver license
• Experience with routine and preventive maintenance
• Ability to read schematics and use HVAC gauges
