Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC is a plus.
• Spanish is a plus.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain organization in all school facilities and common areas.
• Assist in the setup and take-down of equipment for school events and activities.
• Respond to maintenance requests from faculty and staff in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and school policies during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with external contractors for larger repair projects, when required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, such as flood prevention/reaction and hurricane preparedness.
