Job summary

The Montessori School of Raleigh is seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to join its Facilities team in Raleigh. This hands-on role spans maintenance, repairs, event setup, and vendor coordination to keep campuses safe and welcoming for students and staff.

The position is full-time, in-person, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, with a schedule Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional hours may be required for events, weather, or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on facilities generalist with varied tasks.
• Detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple duties.
• Familiarity with CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work tickets for maintenance, repairs, installations, and janitorial tasks.
• Support preventative maintenance and small projects.
• Assist with event setup, vendor coordination, and security/ lighting needs.
• Operate hand/power tools safely and follow safety protocols.
• Receive deliveries and assist on-site vendors and guests.
• Support after-hours needs and school events as required.
