Job summary

City of Raleigh North Carolina seeks a Maintenance and Operations Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and repair activities for Raleigh Water facilities and infrastructure. You will plan, prioritize, and coordinate projects, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with customers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 3–5 years in construction or maintenance project management of building systems.
• Equivalent training or experience acceptable in lieu of formal education.
• Ability to obtain NC Class C Driver's License within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, manage, and evaluate assigned employees; plan and assign work; develop schedules; support training and development; address performance concerns.
• Plan and direct daily maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities for City infrastructure, grounds, and facilities.
• Coordinate projects, determine labor and material needs, and provide technical guidance to staff.
