Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 5-7 years in building maintenance; 1-3 years of managerial experience.
• Skills: Strong project management skills.
• Skills: Licensed or certified in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general contractor preferred.
• Skills: Intermediate level in HVAC, painting, electrical, plumbing, welding, safe use of power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participate in maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds, including renovations and improvements.
• Develops and oversees preventative maintenance schedules and ensures inspections meet policies and regulations.
• Manages P&L for the facility department and recommends cost-containment measures.
• Partners with Purchasing to solicit bids; selects contractors and negotiates bids for facility projects.
• Manages staffing, training and development of the maintenance team.
