Job summary

Northeast College of Health Sciences is seeking a versatile General Facilities Associate to support campus grounds, building maintenance, and events. The role covers indoor and outdoor tasks, including seasonal maintenance, snow removal, and general repairs to ensure a safe and welcoming campus.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds and facilities, assisting with event setups, and ensuring equipment and building systems are kept in good condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid New York State driver’s license required.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently and collaboratively, and adjust to changing priorities.
• Able to work occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as operational needs require.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices and use of common hand tools a plus.
• Experience in groundskeeping, building maintenance, or equipment upkeep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general grounds maintenance in all seasons, including lawn and landscape care and snow/ice removal.
• Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Provide support for College events and activities.
• Assist with upkeep of Facilities equipment, vehicles, tools, and building systems.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; report unsafe conditions.
