Job summary

South Texas College is seeking a Custodian to perform a wide range of custodial duties across campus facilities, ensuring a clean, orderly and safe environment. The role includes routine maintenance, security of facilities, cleaning of restrooms, classrooms, offices and labs, and setting up spaces for events.

Qualified candidates may have a HS Diploma or GED with custodial experience, or substantial custodial background with bilingual English/Spanish reading and writing abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year custodial experience preferred.
• 20 years custodial experience considered with ability to read and write in English or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial maintenance of assigned facilities.
• Secure and unlock facilities.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, classrooms, labs, halls and childcare areas; restock supplies.
