Job summary

SpaceX Bastrop seeks a Bastrop Campus Planning Manager to own strategic site planning and growth for the expanding Bastrop campus. You will lead long-range infrastructure strategy to scale production facilities and work with internal and external partners.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in site planning or infrastructure projects, strong stakeholder engagement, and experience with regulatory processes. Travel up to 10% and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

Proven track record in long-term planning, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory navigation.
Strong project management skills with MS Project, Primavera or Smartsheet experience.
Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Experience in high-growth industrial sites, utilities expansion, or campus development.
Familiarity with Texas land use regulations and local government dynamics.
Advanced degree or PMP certification; proficiency in GIS or site modeling tools.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain long-term master site plan and growth for the Bastrop campus.
Lead infrastructure strategy, forecasting years ahead for capacity and efficiency.
Drive land use planning and partnerships to support expansion.
Cultivate relationships with government officials, landowners, and stakeholders.
Partner with Government Affairs to expedite regulatory approvals and remove blockers.
Coordinate with construction, operations and site leadership for aligned execution.
Lead utility expansions from planning through implementation, on time and budget.
