Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Campus Executive Chef I for Radford University in Radford, VA. You will be the lead culinarian within our campus dining programs and catering, spearheading menu development and preparation with budgeting oversight and client satisfaction in mind.

Five+ years in culinary management, AS degree or equivalent, and experience with high-volume operations are required. This role offers growth opportunities within Compass Group and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Experience in high-volume, hands-on foodservice operations.
• Must be experienced with computers.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinarian within campus dining programs and catering.
• Spearhead menu development and preparation with budgeting oversight.
• Ensure client satisfaction and foster employee training and growth.
• Forecast annual food and labor costs and monitor financial results.
