Job summary

United Security Inc. is seeking qualified Special Events Security Officers for college campuses in Cranston, RI. This AS NEEDED position covers 1st/2nd/3rd shifts and weekends, with emphasis on patrols, access control, and professional interactions with visitors and staff.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; security experience is a plus and customer service skills are valued. Training and opportunities for career development are offered.

• Speak clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Patrol buildings and grounds to ensure campus is secure and safe.
• Identify leaks and spills, inspect doors and locks on site.
• Interact with visitors in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance and directions when needed.
• Provide high level of customer service to clients, employees, visitors and patients.
• Maintain order and enforce campus rules and regulations.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports when necessary.
• Projects a positive image in dress and decorum.
