Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Branch Patrol in Cranston, RI. You will support clients across healthcare, education, finance, and retail with irregular shifts and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

The role offers hands-on experience, opportunities for advancement, and access to exclusive technology for shift visibility and claiming. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18+ (21+ for armed roles), possess a valid driver’s license for driving

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be willing to travel distances as required.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or summon police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
