Lone Star College is seeking a PT Coordinator I, Planning and Events to assist in planning and delivering campus events. You will work with faculty, staff and external vendors to ensure smooth operations, housing, food services, and facilities arrangements as needed.

The role emphasizes coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and strong communication to support college events and programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience coordinating and directing events is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and manage event budgets and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and coordinate campus-wide and sponsored events.
• Work with faculty, staff and admins to plan departmental events.
• Oversee setup, management and cleanup of events.
• Liaise between the college and external customers.
• Administer campus rentals and contracts; manage budget allocations.
• Negotiate vendor quotes and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare reports and maintain scheduling systems.
• Lead cross-functional event meetings and updates.
