Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Student Events Support worker at WNEU in Springfield, MA. You will assist with university events, book events in the scheduling system, and help with setup and breakdowns.

The role requires strong communication, reliable teamwork with staff and students, and the ability to adapt to evolving campus event needs. This on-site position involves coordinating event logistics and supporting day-to-day campus operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to interact with diverse campus groups
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-traffic office with faculty, staff, administration, and student groups
• Proficiency with computer software and reservation systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering University Events Services for the campus community and in booking events in the Event Scheduling System.
• Check in on events and ensure setups are complete; assist in breaking down and setting up events as needed.
• Support day-to-day operations of buildings and rooms on campus and coordinate non-academic scheduling.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of University Events Planning.
• Adapt to evolving event functions on campus and accommodate task changes as needed.
