Concordia University, St. Paul is seeking an Event Assistant to support campus events, setups, and tear downs across the campus. The role involves handling décor, linen, and AV equipment, along with occasional office tasks and linen laundering as needed.

You will work with full-time staff to ensure event success, maintain storage areas, and assist with sound systems and microphones as required. Flexible hours are determined by event schedules and vary week to week.

Formación

• Must be enrolled as a CSP student.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival for scheduled shifts.
• Flexibility to work variable hours based on events.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff and student employees.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret written and verbal instructions provided via text, email and diagrams.
• Obtain reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival for scheduled shifts.
• Communicate effectively and promptly about problems, questions, and work-related issues with supervisor and peers.
• Move and arrange office furniture, linen, audio visual equipment, and assist with setup/teardown.
• Occasionally perform office tasks as assigned.
