BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security professional for a part-time role in Madison, WI. You will assist with event setup, monitor access points, provide customer service, and work with staff to maintain safety and smooth attendee flow.

Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be physically fit to stand or walk, and pass a background check and drug screening. Prior security or event experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (local regulations may apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Candidates with prior event security or law enforcement experience are advantageous.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and maintain situational awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including equipment, signage, and materials.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks for attendee safety.
• Provide friendly customer service with attendee inquiries and directions.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Assist in crowd management and control of entry/exit flows.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies per protocols.
• Monitor areas to enforce rules and safety procedures.
• Resolve attendee complaints calmly and professionally.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines to deliver high service and security standards.
