BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security professional for university events in Madison, WI. The role blends crowd management with frontline security to ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for attendees.

You will engage with attendees, support event staff, and uphold safety standards while adapting to varied schedules. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential; prior security or law enforcement background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college education is preferred.
• Previous experience in event security or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and equipment arrangement.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks for attendee safety.
• Provide friendly customer service by answering attendee questions and directions.
• Collaborate with event staff and security to maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Assist in crowd management and control entry/exit flow.
• Respond promptly to security incidents following established protocols.
• Monitor event areas to enforce rules and safety procedures.
• Resolve attendee complaints in a calm, professional manner.
