Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license preferred; ability to drive a 16’ box truck.
• Certification (or ability to become certified) to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for campus-wide Event managers and set-ups, tear-outs, cleanups, staging, and related tasks.
• Manage equipment and surplus, coordinate with storage and shipment to surpluss sites, organize inventory lists.
• Provide moving and janitorial services forConstruction and remodeling projects as requested, including furniture moves and floor cleaning.
• Assist with campus-wide work orders for moving requests to storage and back.
• Support recycling and garbage removal; empty trash cans and outdoor containers.
• Operate scrubbers, carpet cleaners, power sweepers, vacuums, and floor machines; restrooms maintenance and cleaning.
• Report items needing repair; perform other duties as assigned.
