Job summary

The University of Northern Iowa is seeking an experienced professional to oversee event management and operations at the UNI-Dome, McLeod Center, and outdoor facilities. You will lead operations, supervise visiting crews, and ensure smooth production of sports and entertainment events.

Responsibilities include oversight of maintenance, custodial, concessions setup/teardown, security, and support services; manage preventive maintenance and minor repairs; coordinate daily upkeep and event

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of event and facility management experience in a multi-purpose/outdoor facility.
• Student experience will be considered.
• Frequent evening and weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees event management and operations in the UNI-Dome, McLeod Center and outdoor facilities.
• Serves as the operations lead for assigned facilities and supervises visiting crews.
• Oversees maintenance, custodial services, concessions setup/teardown, and security.
• Supervises preventive maintenance programs and minor repairs.
• Performs and supervises event set ups, tear downs, and facility conversions; daily maintenance.
