Job summary

Jackson State Community College is seeking an Campus Enrollment Counselor to lead on-campus recruitment efforts, plan events, and actively engage prospective students through the campus network. The role emphasizes timely follow-up and close collaboration with the admissions team to maximize enrollment outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with sales/recruitment experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple outreach

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, marketing, or related area.
• Associates Degree with 2-3 years recruitment or sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach efforts to campus prospective students and ensure timely follow-up.
• Serve as the point of contact for on-campus meetings, tours and school visits.
• Manage tour scheduling system with clear instructions and follow-up.
• Utilize CRM software to track inquiries and applicants.
• Provide initial counseling to prospective students and assist with registration.
