Job summary

Fairmont State University is seeking a Student Affairs Marketing Assistant to promote programs, services, and events across campus. This student position supports the Division of Student Affairs by creating compelling content and assisting with marketing campaigns that enhance the student experience.

Responsibilities include creating social media posts, flyers, posters, promotional materials and email content; assisting with planning campaigns; maintaining records; and ensuring branding

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled student at the university.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Must be in academic good standing.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging marketing content for Student Affairs for butnot limited to, social Media posts, flyers, posters, andpromotional materials and email content
• Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns topromote events, programs, and services
• Create and maintain records of marketing and promotionsimplemented for each program
• Support branding consistency across Student Affairs
• Work with Creative Services, Marketing, and Communications (CMCS ) to obtain approval on Student Affairs marketingmaterials
• Ensure active marketing and promotional materials are up todate, i.e., removing marketing for past events from bulletinboards, etc.
