Job summary

Miami University (Ohio) seeks a qualified Energy Production Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the steam plant and electrical generation facilities across campus. You will manage staff, budgets, and capital/operational improvements, and ensure environmental compliance while coordinating with the Director of Energy Systems.

The role requires 5+ years in energy systems or facilities management, strong problem-solving, and the ability to respond to incidents outside normal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering with relevant facility management experience.
• Experience in electric and steam production and equipment maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical and steam production systems safely and reliably.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance activities for energy systems.
• Coordinate with external consultants and contractors for operation and maintenance.
