Job Overview

The electrician provides a full range of skilled, journey-levelelectrical work including the installation, maintenance,modification and repair of electrical apparatuses equipment andsystems.

Position Summary

Electrician

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which will lead towardpermanent status following the successful completion of aprobationary period.

Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,998 - $6,622 per month (step 1- step 6)

CSU Classification Salary Range: $5,998 - $8,737 per month

Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of theindividual selected.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, includingmedical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement(CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15paid holidays are offered each year; 14 scheduled on specific daysand a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during theyear.
