Qualificações

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Completion of recognized electrical apprenticeship or technical college program.
• 4–6 years journey-level experience in commercial/industrial electrical maintenance.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions in electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and specialized equipment.
• Performs routine inspections and testing of electrical panels, transformers, and emergency generators.
• Maintains and tests emergency lighting and fire alarm system components.
• Executes minor electrical renovations and energy-efficient lighting retrofits; measured by adherence to NEC.
• Utilizes Building Automation Systems (BAS) to monitor energy consumption and identify electrical anomalies before they lead to system failure.
• Assists in overseeing the work of external electrical contractors during large-scale capital projects to ensure work meets District standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned
