Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a dynamic Recruiter for its Early Careers team, coordinating with internal stakeholders across the United States to source and recruit top campus talent. You will develop and execute recruiting strategies, strengthen university relationships, and support events that advance our early career needs.

You will partner with cross-functional teams in a 100% ESOP-owned environment, delivering a top-tier candidate experience while building a robust campus pipeline

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years recruiting experience, preferably in engineering/construction
• Knowledge of college recruiting best practices, trends, and processes
• Clear, polished communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills
• Team player with proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Self-starter thriving in fast-paced environments with strong prioritization
• Passionate about using data to shape recruiting strategies and decisions
• Willing to travel for recruiting events

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative recruitment strategies in partnership with business partners
• Proactively improve recruitment strategies as part of continuous improvement
• Source and engage talent through university partnerships, referrals, and databases
• Conduct phone screens to assess qualifications and fit, forward top prospects
• Provide hiring managers with quality information for decisions
• Deliver top-tier experiences to candidates and university partners
• Discuss market conditions with managers to aid compensation/relocation decisions
• Build relationships with universities and student groups
• Plan on-campus and in-house events for students and presentations
• Plan internship program activities as assigned
