Job summary

The Bowery Mission is seeking an experienced Campus Director to lead the Bowery Campus and cultivate a safe, welcoming, Christ-centered community. The role oversees campus operations, staff, safety, hospitality, and program services, and collaborates across departments to ensure cohesive care and effective stewardship of people and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with the population or in a similar setting.
• Experience forming, leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Nonprofit program leadership and management experience, including budget management and measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, safety standards, confidentiality, and community needs.
• Ability to integrate Christ-centered care with leadership and client-care best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, conflict-management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the campus team and culture.
• Oversee safe and effective campus operations, safety, security, and facilities coordination.
• Lead hospitality and guest experience, including tours and events.
• Oversee program management and outcomes including housing, meals, clothing, and services.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships and external relationships.
• Steward budget and ensure accurate program records and reporting.
