Job summary

The University of Notre Dame in Indiana is hiring for temporary/on-call Retail Associates in our Campus Dining department, with 2nd and 3rd shift coverage. The UOES division oversees campus dining, events, hospitality, and student life, supporting the university's mission and community.

As a Retail Associate, you will provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment, assist with food prep and stocking, operate POS systems, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• Available to work late night shifts (6PM-2AM) and Sundays.
• Capable of time management with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests and exceed expectations in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Assist with preparation of food as needed.
• Stock and rotate food inventories.
• Operate order and POS equipment.
• Follow brand standards.
• Wash dishes and maintain a clean unit.
• Perform tasks related to retail, safety and sanitation of food service facilities.
