Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a position that performs custodial duties.
• One year or more experience in a position performing custodial duties.
• Six months or more experience in a foodservice or retail operation(s).
• Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary for building and maintaining successful work relationships.
• Exemplary customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize foodservice equipment, preparation tables, walls, sinks, drains, vents, trash and compost receptacles, ceilings, floors, mirrors, vanities, toilets, windows, appliances, and furnishings.
• Maintain foodservice kitchen environments clean and safe using green practices.
• Cleans the outside of building including dock areas, sweeping, removing grease, washing, and snow/ice removal.
• Performs minor maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, minor painting, corner guard replacement, and drain cleaning.
• Attend assigned and voluntary CSU, HDS, and department training sessions.
