Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services at the University of Minnesota-Rochester is seeking a full-time Cook. You will prepare food to established standards, ensure correct portions, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen, including HACCP practices.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures; ensures food is attractive and tasty.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and follows safety procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of refrigerators and storerooms; records from service periods.
