Job summary

Willow Creek Community Church is seeking a Campus Development Construction Project Manager to oversee construction, remodeling, and grounds projects across its Chicagoland campuses. You’ll work with church leaders, contractors, vendors, and volunteers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in construction or commercial project management (degree and/or equivalent experience).
• Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities without losing momentum.
• Strong organizational, execution, and communication skills.
• Relational, emotionally healthy leadership style—especially under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset and alignment with our mission and values.
• Alignment with the mission, theology, and worship philosophy of the church.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, build schedules, manage budgets, obtain bids, and oversee contractors and volunteer teams across multiple campuses.
• Maintain safety, quality, and follow-through across multiple campuses.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and engaged.
• Build strong vendor and contractor relationships and negotiate pricing.
• Recruit, organize, and lead volunteer teams to support projects.
