Job summary

University at Buffalo Campus Dining & Shops is seeking a Delivery Driver (small vehicle only) for the Statler Commissary to provide safe delivery of prepared sushi orders, deliver mail, and transport marketing materials on campus while handling deposits.

The role operates Monday through Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm with mandatory overtime per union contract; starting rate $17.00 per hour. Valid NYS driver's license required and customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Verifiable experience with cash handling and the ability to make change accurately.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.
• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Must have valid NYS driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, and unload CDS delivery vehicle.
• Drive to and from assignments, delivering food orders to units, mail delivery.
• Deliver Marketing materials and Staples orders to various units on campus.
• Responsible for safe operation of CDS vehicle and keeping it clean.
• Maintain vehicle keys in assigned places and ensure vehicle cleanliness.
