Job summary

CU Boulder is seeking a Custodial Staff member to clean and sanitize facilities for students, staff, faculty and customers on the Boulder Campus. The position supports a team-based cleaning program across the campus, with area rotations and emergency response duties.

The role requires six months of related experience, effective communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:30 am to 1:00 pm, with overtime or alternate shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a Colorado resident to apply.
• Six months of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• The ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Team Cleaning Program: rotate through specialist positions and cover for leaves; follow area floor plans and safety procedures.
• Snow and Ice removal: clear walks and apply de-icer to keep entryways safe.
• Emergency and routine cleaning duties: respond to emergencies, operate and maintain custodial equipment, and report needed repairs.
