Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a Custodian for the Main Campus to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks that support a safe and welcoming campus environment. The role involves monitoring entrances, keeping walkways clear, and using basic cleaning equipment under supervision.

The position requires physical stamina and reliability, with a Monday–Friday shift and occasional weekend work. The starting wage is $16.18 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package for UW System

Responsibilities

• Monitors and secures facility entrances and reports issues.
• Maintains clear walkways free of debris, snow, and ice.
• Operates basic cleaning equipment and disposes of waste.
• Keeps supply areas organized and tracks inventory.
• Coordinates with Custodial Lead or Supervisor for tasks.
