Job summary

University of Richmond is seeking a temporary, part-time custodial worker to assist with campus cleaning coverage on varying shifts. This role supports the daily operations of campus facilities, performing routine cleaning tasks in assigned buildings.

Responsibilities include trash collection, following safety policies, and issuing work orders for maintenance while using provided equipment. Candidates should be able to work weekends/evenings and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year or more custodial experience preferred.
• Driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years).

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks in assigned area in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Collects and removes trash and recycled materials from buildings.
• Fills out work orders for items needing maintenance.
• Utilizes and takes care of the equipment and supplies provided to them by the University.
• Works with safety of self and others in mind as their number one priority.
• Assists with snow removal as required.
