Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year custodial experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of custodial practices and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and coordinate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleans bathrooms, offices, classrooms, and hallways; empties trash and cleans windows and chalkboards.
• Makes minor maintenance repairs or refers specialized needs to Facilities supervision.
• Dusts, sweeps, and mops.
• Cleans kitchen areas, lounges, and laundry areas, if applicable.
• Sets up for events including moving of furniture; places decorative features and table linens.
• Coordinates work by student labor for cleaning or for setups.
• Performs related duties as required.
• Knowledge of custodial practices and floor cleaning equipment and safe use of cleaning materials.
