Job summary

Hutchinson Community College is seeking a full-time custodian to perform daily cleaning of buildings, from dusting to floor care, and to assist other staff as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining interior spaces from ceiling to floor and servicing light fixtures and HVAC vents.

The role requires punctuality and willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends. The position has a 40-hour work week with an hourly wage of $15.00/hour, plus a $0.40/hour shift differential for second shift,

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must be neat, clean and present a positive image to students, staff and community members.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekend hours as needed.
• Cooperate with students, college personnel, and the community.
• Successful completion of a physical capacity and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of buildings including dusting, windows, floors, walls, and furniture; restroom fixtures and equipment.
• Maintain interior spaces from ceiling to floor; clean light fixtures, HVAC vents, and change filters as needed.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and/or weekend hours as necessary.
• Arrive on time, attend work regularly, and comply with HutchCC policies.
