Job summary

Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI seeks a full-time Janitorial Staff member to maintain custodial duties across student residence halls, classrooms and various common areas. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Reporting to the Director of Buildings and Grounds and the Manager of Housekeeping, candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One to three years of custodial or related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors.
• Dust and polish furnishings and equipment.
• Wash windows, mirrors, tables and chairs as needed.
• Change lights and adjust shades/blinds.
• Empty and sanitize waste receptacles.
• Identify and report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Assist in other custodial and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
