ABM is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties in a K-12 school or campus environment. You will clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas to maintain a safe, tidy, healthy learning space for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• One year of prior similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned area, such as classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices.
• Sweep, mop floors, and remove debris.
• Regularly check trash receptacles and empty as needed.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Notify lead cleaner or manager about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and co-workers.
• Move furniture to clean areas as needed.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
• Polish hard surfaces and wipe tabletops and equipment.
• Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
