LSU Shreveport is seeking qualified applicants for the Custodian 1 or 2 in the Facility Services department. This role performs routine and specialized cleaning to maintain campus buildings, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the campus community.

No experience or training is required. The position may be part of a Career Progression Group, with duties including cleaning floors, bathrooms, offices and other spaces using standard cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Performs varied custodial tasks for upkeep of buildings and cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways and other areas using sweeping, mopping, dusting and general housekeeping.
• Empties trash receptacles and prepares cleaning solutions as needed.
• Sweeps sidewalks and other exterior surfaces to maintain building appearance.
• Operates cleaning equipment including buffing machines and vacuums as required.
