Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years previous experience in janitorial or custodial work.
• Familiarity with proper sanitation practices, including disinfectants and cleaning chemicals.
• Effective verbal communication skills to interact with building occupants, visitors, and coworkers.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to complete duties within timeframes.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality to ensure coverage during designated work hours.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum daily.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste daily.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms daily.
• Monitor and restock bathroom supplies daily.
• Clean and disinfect common areas daily.
• Dust surfaces weekly.
• Respond to staff requests and address needs.
• Rearrange furniture as requested by manager.
• Monitor supplies and notify manager of needed items weekly.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stored safely and in compliance with health guidelines.
