Job summary

RSCCD is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead a custodial crew on campus and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety. Under direction, you will schedule work, train staff, and monitor performance while maintaining records and supporting a positive, inclusive workplace.

The ideal candidate has experience in custodial operations, can lead students and staff, and is committed to equity and excellent service to the RSCCD community.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible custodial experience.
• Ability to train and lead personnel and follow directions.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff and instructors.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Physical ability to perform custodial duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspect a custodial crew and schedule assignments.
• Instruct on the safe use of materials and equipment.
• Move and arrange furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain time records and simple records.
• Ensure proper custodial methods and standards.
