Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to oversee daily custodial operations across a university campus. The role leads custodial supervisors and frontline staff, manages QA programs, and supports campus events to ensure safety and cleanliness.

You will drive schedules, performance, and budgets while partnering with campus stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and ensure contract compliance. This hands-on leadership position emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of custodial, facilities, or environmental services management experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading frontline service teams.
• Strong knowledge of custodial procedures, equipment, cleaning chemicals, and industry best practices.
• Experience managing employee schedules, performance, and budgets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all custodial services across academic, administrative, residential, athletic, and common-use campus facilities.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, staffing plans, and service delivery standards.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure quality, cleanliness, and contractual compliance.
• Monitor work performance and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
• Ensure adequate coverage across all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
