Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to lead daily custodial operations across campus facilities, including academic buildings and residence halls. The role requires hands-on leadership, budget oversight, and a focus on safety and quality, with adherence to university guidelines and labor agreements where applicable.

The Manager will recruit and develop custodial staff, coordinate staffing for events, and drive continuous improvement in cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in custodial, housekeeping, or facilities management.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment, chemicals, and safety.
• Experience budgeting, staffing, and performance metrics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily custodial operations across campus facilities.
• Develop cleaning schedules and quality assurance programs.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance standards.
• Coordinate staffing for events and campus activities.
• Monitor work orders and customer requests.
• Recruit, train, and develop custodial staff and supervisors.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and campus protocols.
• Manage labor budgets, supplies, and equipment expenditures.
• Maintain inventory controls and procurement practices.
• Build relationships with campus leadership and facilities teams.
• Provide operational updates and performance reporting.
