Job summary

Miami University in Oxford, OH is seeking a Building and Grounds Assistant, Custodial for the Shriver Center. This regular, hourly position supports custodial services and event setup, maintaining university facilities and grounds; shift is first shift, 7:30am–4:00pm, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Performs event set ups
• Picks up trash and/or litter from university buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles
• May sweep and mop rooms and hallways; may dust and perform general cleaning of rooms; may clean windows
• May vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors; may clean and sanitize restrooms
• May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies
• May perform cleaning/washing duties.
