Job summary

Albright College seeks an adjunct instructor in Computer Science for undergraduate courses related to introductory programming, object-oriented programming, cybersecurity, and data science. Our growing programs layer technical education on Albright's liberal arts foundation.

Instructors teach on campus in Reading, PA, with a typical two-day-per-week presence for each course; up to multiple courses per semester may be available.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred; industry background in CS fields welcome.
• Strong knowledge of CS concepts and ability to convey them to undergraduates.
• Evening scheduling may be available to accommodate working professionals.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate CS courses including introductory programming, object-oriented programming, cybersecurity, and data science.
• Prepare and provide teaching materials; collaborate with department; use campus facilities.
• Maintain student engagement and assess learning outcomes throughout the semester.
