The University of Evansville invites applications for the position of Courier, Receiving/Distribution Services. This full-time role supports shipping, receiving, inventory, and admin tasks across campus, using department systems to track deliveries and maintain records.

Responsibilities include operating delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment, processing orders, and delivering to campus departments while delivering excellent customer service to faculty, staff, students, and vendors.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Forklift operating experience or ability to obtain certification within the first six months of employment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; basic computer proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, process, track, and deliver freight shipments, office supplies, in-house supplies, and purchase orders to campus departments.
• Prepare and complete shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate records within departmental systems and databases.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups to ensure timely service to campus departments.
• Operate department vehicles and equipment, including delivery vans, forklifts, and pallet jacks, safely.
• Maintain delivery schedules and ensure materials are delivered accurately and professionally.
• Schedule and assist with routine maintenance and service for department vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, vehicle, and work environments.
• Provide outstanding customer service to faculty, staff, students, vendors, and campus visitors.
• Assist with sorting, processing, and distribution of campus mail and student packages as needed.
• Support journal entries and routine departmental administrative functions.
